Artmoves 'One Day' Workshops are an ideal way study specific areas of interest, in pleasant surroundings and in the company of like minded people. Workshops run from 10am to 4pm with a break for lunch. Refreshments will be available through-out the day. You will have the best attention from your tutor at all times and you will receive a personal critique at the end of each workshop.

Friday Painting in Oils – An introduction.
Oct 16th A superb introduction, learn the basics to help you create your first work of art in oil.
For Beginners Only. Some drawing skill is required.
You will need Oil Paints, a selection of brushes suitable for oils, a canvas board 10" x 8",
painting knife,easel,charcoal pencil and other items that can be found around the home.
A Full Starter Material List is available on request.
Any items you require can be pre-ordered from us and available for you at the start
of your workshop if you wish.
Friday Loosen Up – Watercolour.
Nov 6th Have fun and explore new techniques to produce a Flower or Landscape painting. For Beginners, Intermediates and Advanced.
Materials required:
You will need a selection of watercolours,inks,gouache brushes, etc; details will be provided
on registration. Paper will be provided free of charge and boards will be provided for your
use during the workshop.
Any items you require can be pre-ordered from us and available for you at the start
of your workshop if you wish.
Friday Portraiture - An Introduction – Watercolour.
Nov 13th Explore techniques to capture a likeness of your sitter in watercolour
For Intermediates and Advanced.
Materials required:
You will need a selection of watercolours, brushes, etc; details will be provided
on registration. Paper will be provided free of charge and boards will be provided for your
use during the workshop.

Friday Painting Fruit - Gouache
Nov 20th A superb opportunity to use this medium to produce 3 small stunning paintings.
Gouache is much more forgiving than watercolour as it can be reworked.
Suitable for Beginners and Intermediates. Some drawing skill is required.
A basic Starter set of Gouache will be needed together with brushes, putty rubber, 2b pencil
and note book. A full list of Materials is available on request.

of your workshop if you wish.
